MY DREAM JOB

Hello everyone!

 

The job I would like to have in the future would be to be a surgeon. Since I was a little girl I have been very interested in this area, but I didn't know very well what part of the body haha.

 

I imagine this job with a lot of adrenaline, I like working in the emergency room, I always think that a person will arrive with a fractured face and I will have to be the one to reconstruct and rehabilitate his head. Regarding skills, they must be many!!! manual skills, very meticulous, with good motor skills, but, above all, to be careful. I also consider it very necessary to have soft skills, to be considerate, welcoming, kind and empathetic with both the patient and their families, to give them confidence and peace of mind that the treatment will be successful.

 

My knowledge regarding surgery is very limited, but I imagine that the monthly salary should be around 3 million pesos. I do not aspire to have a very high salary, I just hope to live very comfortably with my partner, have the opportunity to travel whenever we want and that we do not lack anything!

 

I am studying dentistry at the University of Chile, surgery is part of the specialties of this career, so I would have higher chances to apply for it. This postgraduate degree lasts 4 years and the available places to enter are very few!!! I know it will be difficult but not impossible!

    I've also thought about becoming a surgeon, but it must be difficult :(

 The dream job I had when I was little was to be a dentist or "Tooth Doctor" as I used to call it. Honestly I had no other options but dentistry, at some point I considered nursing but I was never really convinced. As long as I can remember I always wanted to study dentistry, I had no other options and I was very worried because if I was not selected in this university I didn't know what else to do. So far, my experience at the university has been quite stressful and difficult. You have to study a lot, because dentistry is very demanding, I really like the career, but you have to dedicate a lot of time and be very disciplined. The career is very fun and it is very practical, which is what I like the most. A country you would like to visit

 I would like to go to Venezuela, because my boyfriend is from there and I find everything they say very interesting and beautiful.  I know it has one of the most beautiful and biggest beaches and waterfalls in the world. It has all kinds of weather, it´s very green. When you walk down the street mangoes fall from the trees and you can see different tropical birds. I would like to go to the biggest waterfall in the world (which is the inspiration for the movie UP, by Disney) and I would also love to go to Isla Margarita, I have seen videos and I know it's beautiful.  Aside from the above mentioned, I would love to get to know my boyfriend's house, his school and his friends. I would not like to work or study there at least at this time, because it is very dangerous, they have too much economic instability, and also have shortages of some foods.  Isla margarita  Santo Ángel
