5. HOW CAN YOUR MAJOR MAKE THE WORLD A BETTER PLACE?

 

What I study can build a better world, since I will work in oral health, which is fundamental for the proper functioning of basic functions, such as swallowing, speaking, etc. and we also cover the aesthetic sense, which carries a great emotional burden on each of our patients, if we as dentists did not exist, the truth is that I can not imagine the enormous prevalence that oral diseases would have in the world. 

In the process (as a student), I find myself stressed, overwhelmed, but very happy because I know that everything I am doing will be worth it. Later, when I graduate, I would like to be in the wards doing all kinds of facial and neck reconstruction, rather than attending in a dental office. Currently in a UTE of the career, we are working on restorations in the teeth, and I really think it's a little boring to do them and I do not see my whole life working on something like that, I like more adrenaline and a little more bloody hahahahahah. 

Dentists contribute to the benefits of the world, because although we can be in consultation, we also do prevention and promotion of diseases, we could choose to be teachers or researchers, among many other things, therefore, our profession brings great things to society and the world.
